Winter Wonders: November Kids Pottery Series Daytime & After-School Sessions Join Tide & Clay Studio for four Tuesdays of winter-inspired creativity! Open to homeschool and after-school students, this hands-on series encourages children to explore clay, build skills, and express their imagination through their own unique creations. November 3 — Woodland Winter Spirit Animal Create a woodland animal of your choosing, adding personality and details that make it uniquely yours. November 10 — Winter Evergreen Dish Shape a tree-inspired dish and decorate it with textures and special touches. November 17 — Winter Ornament Collection Create winter ornaments with shapes, textures, and personal details. Children may make additional ornaments as time and their designs allow. November 24 — Glazing Day Bring your creations to life with color! Premade, bisque-fired ornaments will also be available for children who need that option. Choose one weekly Tuesday session: • 10–11 a.m. • 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. • 1–2 p.m. • 4:30–5:30 p.m. — After School $180 per child for the four-week series. Includes instruction, clay, tools, glaze, and firing. Traveling during Thanksgiving week? Please arrange an alternative glazing time with Sarah. Itemized paid invoices are available upon request for Step Up For Students reimbursement submissions. Finished pieces will be available for pickup after the final firing. Families will receive pickup details when their creations are ready. Taught by local artist Sarah Bumanglag at Tide & Clay Studio in Destin.
